Cathi Shultz
Cathi and her husband were born in Southern California where they still reside. They are the parents of four adult children, grandparents to six. They have a heart for non-profit organizations and currently work with and/or serve on the Board of Directors for three locally. In June of 2000 their lives, and those of family and friends, were changed as a secret kept hidden for more than 27 years came to light. While initially fearful of the repercussions of a choice made long ago, it turned out to be a blessing and a journey of learning that has changed Cathi from the inside out.
Cathi never thought she’d write a book; she spent about twelve years nodding and smiling when people told her she should get her story down on paper. But, a little over six years ago, something changed inside her, and she willingly, and nervously, launched herself into a new world – becoming a writer. The book, Clandestiny, is now a reality and seems to be spawning a new life in public speaking. Her hope is that the road she traveled will help others as they walk theirs.
