The first draft of this was written on January 25th aboard the Crystal Serenity: There are times when I look around at my life and wonder how I got to where I am. If you had tried to tell me when I was twenty-six and newly married what my life would look like some forty years later, I probably would have laughed out loud and my kindest thought would have been that you'd lost your mind.
